ISS Indonesia Re-affirms Its Commitment in People Empowerment through The Best Employee Award

ISS Indonesia Records 97% of 2017 Employee Satisfaction Survey Score, the Highest in ISS Group

PT ISS Indonesia, one of the leading integrated facility service company headquartered in Denmark that has been serving the country for over two decades, today held an appreciation session, “The Best Employee (TBE) Awardthat is held quarterly. During the session, which is the 80th event, there were 82 staffs from various cities in Indonesia to receive award that is witnessed by ISS Indonesia senior management and approximately 500 employees in an event that is held at ISS Indonesia headquarter.

ISS Indonesia President Director & CEO Elisa Lumbantoruan said, ”The Best Employee Award is one of the great event that we have always look for. As a company that is fully committed in job creation and people empowerment, ISS Indonesia put its employees as first asset and priority. As such, we recognize all Great People who have been supporting the company in continuously facilitating client’s purpose with high appreciations. Not only appreciating their work performance for a year period, but most importantly, for implementing ISS values in their day-to-day activities such as honesty, responsibility, entrepreunership dan quality.”

The 80th TBE event recognizes special individuals from various categories according to Javanese culture philosophy. Overall, there are 625 staffs who are selected to receive awards from various categories such as: 409 staffs for Sadewa category (1 star), 139 staffs for Nakula category (2 stars), 63 staffs for Arjuna category (2 stars), and 14 staffs for Bima category (4 stars).

ISS Indonesia EVP – Head of Human Capital Management Ari Kurnianto explained, the staff nomination and selection process towards TBE event was held in stages and simultaneously within all nine branch offices of ISS throughout Indonesia. “To become eligible and win the award, is not an easy task. There are certain criterias, terms, and conditions that staff must follow to. As an example, Arjuna category requires the staff to have consistent performamce for three period in a row. For Bima award, staffs need to show their excellent performance for four period in a row, or, within one full year,” added Ari.

In addition to those four award categories, ISS Indonesia also announced special award categories: Apple Award category that recognizing staff’s performance through direct testimonial from client, and Punakawan (Golden Heart) Award cateogory that recognizing staffs who have shown their ISS values (including integrity, honesty, and social empaty towards others) in their day-to-day life. For both categories, ISS Indonesia awarded five staffs as winners for Apple Award category, and recognizing 331 staffs who are eligible for Punakawan.

“At ISS Indonesia, not only we provide a robust training and development program held contiuously under our ISS School of Life. Moreover, we tirelessly encourage staffs to embed ISS Values in their daily life. As a result: there are 4,000 staffs who have acted honesty with over 1,000 mobile phones had been found and returned. In addition, there was also a Rp480 million check that had been found and returned to owner. All these efforts are brought in jointly and continuously with great result: ISS Indonesia recorded 97% for employee satisfaction score, showing an improvement if compared to last year for 90%. This achievement is not only a proof on employee’s comfort level in working environment at ISS, but more importantly, on employee’s trust level that had made ISS Values remain strong in their day-to-day life,” said Ari proudly.
